Anniversary Recap

On May 15, 2026, The Turning Point of Lansing proudly celebrated its 20th Anniversary with a sold-out community celebration recognizing two decades of service, mentorship, and empowerment for youth and families throughout the Greater Lansing area.

In recognition of this milestone, The Turning Point of Lansing received official proclamations from the City of Lansing, Delta Township, the Michigan Senate, and the Governor’s Office. Additionally, Mayor Andy Schor officially declared May 15 as The Turning Point of Lansing Day.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our sponsors, exhibitors, silent auction donors, community partners, volunteers, and supporters whose generosity and commitment made this celebration possible. A special thank you to our keynote speaker and emcees, Billy Blanks Jr. and Anthony Austin, for helping make the evening both memorable and inspiring.

Most importantly, thank you to the community for showing up and showing out in support of our mission. Your continued belief in our work has helped us positively impact more than 900 youth and families over the past 20 years.

For 20 years, The Turning Point of Lansing has remained dedicated to helping young people realize their full potential through mentorship, education, leadership development, and community engagement.

As we reflect on this incredible milestone, we remain committed to empowering the next generation and strengthening our community.
